Composite Filling

POST-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

After the numbing wears off, please inform us if your bite feels incorrect so we can make adjustments. This issue won't correct itself and may lead to complications.

Experiencing some sensitivity following dental procedures is entirely normal; however, this sensation is expected to diminish as time progresses. If you notice it persists, please reach out to us to schedule a follow-up appointment.

You may return to your regular brushing and flossing routine once the soreness has subsided. In the meantime, please be particularly gentle around the area of the filling(s).

Although your filling is fully set up, avoid hot liquids and take care not to bite your lip, cheek, or tongue while the numbness persists.

Soreness, swelling, or bruising around injection site may occur..

Gums can be sore or tender. Warm and gentle salt water swishes (up to 3x a day) can help accelerate healing and soothe them.
